Abdelhameed Mohamed is the Smart City Department Head at ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A. (ECG) with 16 years of experience. He holds a master’s degree in (Smart City Solutions) from HFT Stuttgart University (Germany). Also, he holds both the #RCDD and #DCDC certifications from BICSI (USA). He is also certified as a DGNB registered professional from DGNB (Germany). His work experience is expanded between the fields of #design, research, and #operation & and #maintenance.
As for his design experience, he participated through his work with ECG-Qatar in designing the #smartsystems of several mega projects including the projects related to the FIFA 2022 World Cup. As for his research experience, he worked with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) on research topics related to smart city projects under the European Union. As for the Operation & Maintenance) field, he worked in the (Operation and maintenance) of the sound and CCTV systems for the Mecca holy mosque.
